I run the Virtual Terrain Project, a high level set of portable applications and libraries built on top of OSG and other open software. The VTP is actually several things: a community of enthusiasts, an educational website, and a suite of software designed to make it easier for non-programmers and programmers alike to rapidly create interactive 3D visualizations of all their geographic data. OSG plays a vital role by handling low-level tasks such as efficient culling and model import.
