| 6 | | Computers, programming, and games are a big hobby of me, so recently (december 2004) I started building a RPG game with a good friend of mine. He does the artwork, and I write the code. At first I did some research on the topic, to find wich engine was the most suitable. I took a look at [[http://www.ogre3d.org OGRE]] (a project which has grown too big), [http://crystal.sourceforge.net Crystal Space] (Planeshift doesn't work with me), [http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net Irrlicht] (doesn't look so good) and !OpenSceneGraph. I finally chose !OpenSceneGraph because of it's clean, hierarchical design, and "the right feeling" it gave me. |
