VRlad Research, Umeå University

Research is mainly focused on visual and interactive simulation techniques and ranges from basic methods and algorithms to integration and application projects.

!Colosseum3D is a framework for developing interactive 3D simulations. It is built upon several open-source libraries for rendering, 3D sound, scripting, character animation and one commercial library for rigid body dynamics.

Screenshots from an upcoming demonstration for phobia treatment. The environment is rendered using pre-calculated lightmaps and normalmaps. The spider is animated using [=ReplicantBody?=] and rendered using normalmaps and a fur-shader.
